When New Trends Meet the Traditional Satellite Industry

C3S LLC stands out in the space industry by simultaneously representing NewSpace trends and the traditional large satellite sector. Over the past decade, the company has successfully integrated into the supply chains of major industry players as well as emerging NewSpace actors. This unique position allows the company to deliver unparalleled reliability and longevity for its clients’ space assets while offering innovative solutions that meet the high demands of both segments.

With a 100% mission success rate, we have earned a solid position in the European market, becoming an indispensable player among global CubeSat developers. We believe every mission can be accomplished — and we build our systems accordingly.

KEY PRODUCTS

3U-16U CubeSats

Our in-house developed satellite platforms incorporate a wide range of technological innovations and unique solutions that position C3S as a standout player on the international stage. These include integrated satellite tracking systems, redundant subsystems, and fast, secure payload integration options. We offer fully in-house manufactured, high-reliability, and scalable platforms in the 3–16U size range. These are equipped with robust subsystems and, when required, electronics derived from large satellite systems.

Subsystems

Each subsystem is designed for high reliability, scalability, and redundancy, and has demonstrated proven performance in space thanks to our rigorous test campaigns. We offer tailored solutions designed to meet the specific needs of each mission, providing custom subsystems that perfectly fit the payload requirements.

Large Satellite Electronics

Beyond CubeSats, C3S is actively involved in large satellite projects, specializing in power distribution systems and payload synchronization. Our engineering roots lie in long-duration, high-reliability missions that demand redundancy and robust performance. We design redundant subsystems with high availability and long lifecycles in house, meeting the rigorous standards of complex space platforms. Our power distribution units ensure efficient, protected energy delivery with built-in redundancy, remote control, and diagnostics.

C3S SERVICES

End to End Solutions

From concept to orbit, we provide end-to-end mission support, including mission planning, platform design and manufacturing, integration and testing, launch management, and satellite operations to ensure mission success. Our capabilities include in-house integration, verification, and environmental qualification, supported by space-proven electronics and flexible payload accommodation.

Launch Management

We provide launch opportunities, arrange launch deployment, and oversee the management, supervision, and coordination of technical interfaces, equipment, and documentation required for launch acceptance. Launch vehicle integration involves the final flight preparation, satellite checkout, and integration with the launch vehicle at the launch site.

Mission Operation Center

C3S MOC is a comprehensive system for managing satellites and tracking stations, handling TC/TM data, offering customizable interfaces for third-party connections, and providing an integrated on-site satellite testing solution. Track and command satellites from launch until deorbiting.

Ground Operation

Our UHF and VHF ground stations ensure low-latency connection to orbiting small satellites, facilitate reliable tracking, offers stable communication, and enables fast data processing. Our 3m parabolic dish antenna features an advanced antenna feed with an integrated low-noise block for S-band downlink with circular polarization.

C3S participated at the panel discussion of MOMENTUS under the SaaS Workshop: How to Host your Payload in Space

Milánkovics Dorottya, Project Manager of CubeSat projects represented C3S at the panel discussion organized by MOMENTUS during the SaaS Workshop: How to Host your Payload in Space. In the course of the talk, they covered C3S’s shared payload concept with Dorottya mentioning several use cases of such solution. Sharing the payload bay means a cost effective, short-term, and schedulable option to those research, university or IOD project owners who – due to the mission’s character or the small size of the payload – don’t insist on being launched on a sperate platform to LEO.
